Free no-purpose workshop Friday 23rd 1800 (Canberra time)

The idea of a free no-purpose workshop is inspired by a friend of mine, Rob McNeally, who occasionally runs no-purpose workshops himself. I believe he was in turn inspired by a friend of his.

We have all attended workshops that have a purpose. Workshops intended to teach us something, allow us to practice a skill or to get a qualification.  This one-hour no-purpose workshop has no purpose other than providing an opportunity and a place where a group of people can come together for a conversation.  Whenever I see someone offer a free workshop I assume they are going to sell me something at the end of it. I promise not to sell or offer anything during these workshops. A workshop with an offer would not be a no-purpose workshop!

To borrow some words from Rob, we can take some time, step back from the busy-ness of our lives, pause, reflect, dream ... and maybe be open to some new and unpredictable possibilities.

I am not promising that this will happen, just mentioning that it is a possibility.

We will meet by Zoom and I will email the Zoom link prior to the workshop.
